Lime Kiln Carnival Club is one of the thirteen carnival clubs in the Bridgwater Gangs and Features; the carnival club takes part in both the Bridgwater Carnival and the Bridgwater Carnival Concerts.

 

First Formed in 1946, it has now become and is known as the oldest club in the town and is also the only club known to be still at its Original Headquaters, the Lime Kiln Inn.

Lime Kiln Carnival Club work hard every year like all other clubs to produce the bestest Carnival Cart that they can produce, this couldnt be achieved by all members, associate and life members, and helpers of the club that work hard to try and get the Cart up and running and looking great.

 

If you head over to the image section of this website, you can view some of the carts designed and created for Lime Kiln over the past few years that has been part of the Bridgwater Carnival and many other Carnivals that have run like North Peverton, Burnham and so on. 

 

Lime Kiln hold an annual fete at Cranleigh Gardens every year, this year the fete will be held on Saturday 5th July, currently Lime Kiln are looking for any dance troops, singinging groups, sport clubs etc. to participate, if interested, head over to the Facebook page to find out more.
